A clarification, not a change to how we handle your information. We updated the Privacy Policy to state that it covers the Note Hoard browser extension, and to describe what the extension collects: when you click its icon on a web page, it reads that page's address and title and — where the page is an article — its text, author, and publication name, so the page can be saved as a note. The extension has always worked this way; the notice previously described only our website and mobile app.
We also removed "passwords" from the list of information we collect. We never see or store your password — sign-in is handled entirely by our authentication provider, Clerk — so listing it was inaccurate.
No new information is collected, and nothing is shared with anyone new as a result of this update.

We introduced version tracking for our legal documents. From this point on, every change to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or Cookie Policy is listed on this page, and significant changes will additionally be announced by email and in the app before they take effect.
The versions current as of this date: Terms of Service (April 3, 2026), Privacy Policy (July 17, 2026), Cookie Policy (April 3, 2026). No terms were changed as part of introducing this tracking.
