This Cookie Policy explains how akineticzen LLC ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar storage technologies on Note Hoard (notehoard.com).

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. We also use browser localStorage, which works similarly but is never sent to our servers. Both are used to remember your preferences and keep you signed in.

Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary

These are required for the service to function and cannot be disabled. They do not require your consent under GDPR.

Functional

These are stored in localStorage (not sent to servers) and improve your experience. They are set only after you interact with the relevant feature.

Analytics & Tracking

We use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog collects information about how you use Note Hoard — such as page views and feature interactions — so we can understand usage patterns and improve the product. PostHog stores data in localStorage (not cookies) on your device and sends anonymized event data to PostHog servers.

Key / PrefixProviderPurposeExpiry

Analytics tracking only begins if you click Accept in the cookie consent banner. If you click Reject, no analytics data is collected. You can change your preference at any time by clearing the cookie_consent key from localStorage for notehoard.com and reloading the page.

We also use Umami for anonymized page-view analytics. Umami sets no cookies and no localStorage entries on your device — it collects only aggregated, non-identifiable data (page URL and referrer) and cannot be used to track individual users. Because Umami collects no personal data, it does not require cookie consent and is active regardless of your preference above.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in. To reset your cookie preference on this site, clear your browser's localStorage for notehoard.com.

Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.
